Albert KANGBO is a seasoned Central African professional with more than 30 years of experience in training, education management, and capacity-building across national institutions and United Nations field missions.
Since 2019, he has served as a Training Assistant at the Integrated Mission Training Centre (IMTC) of MINUSCA, where he oversees the full training cycle of the mission. His responsibilities include training budget planning and monitoring, processing payments for training activities, coordinating online and in‑person learning programs, managing training data, and ensuring smooth logistical and technical support for all learning events. He also supervises the Mission Language Programme, managing a team of seven locally recruited language instructors.
Before joining IMTC as a training administrator, Albert worked extensively as a Language Instructor (FLE, FLS, FOS) for over two decades at the Alliance Française of Bangui and within MINUSCA. He designed curricula, developed pedagogical materials, facilitated group and individual learning sessions, assessed learners’ progress, and supported multilingual communication within international teams.
His national career includes leadership positions such as Director of the School of Applied Arts and Director of Studies, where he managed academic programs, supervised teaching staff, strengthened institutional partnerships (including with UNESCO and UNICEF), and contributed to curriculum development and quality assurance. He also served as Head of the Scholarship Management Unit at the Ministry of National Education, overseeing the allocation and monitoring of scholarships for Central African students studying abroad.
Albert’s professional background is supported by extensive academic and technical training. He holds numerous international certifications in project management (PRINCE2 Foundation), training of trainers, monitoring and evaluation, data analytics, AI-powered learning, Excel and dashboard design, and several UN‑specific administrative and learning management tools.
Fluent in French (DALF C2) and English (B2), he is proficient with a wide range of digital tools, including MS Office, MS Teams, Zoom, Sway, Articulate 360, and other modern learning technologies. His interests extend to arts, sports, theatre, and literature, with prior experience as founder and director of a cultural and artistic company.
Albert has been recognized for his contributions to education and culture as a Knight of the Order of Central African Recognition and a Knight of the French Order of Academic Palms.
